Outside of a street food truck in the back of a South Bermondsey trading estate the world seems to stand still. As the men in the kitchen, fight, fuck and drink their way through the south London summer days, P, a 19 year old girl on the cusp of adult hood stuck in her own world must watch on. The heat is becoming unbearable, the ground is sweating. The birds are flocking around, waiting for the concrete to cool down, for the world to become bearable again.
